How to do it without overdoing it

Wearing floral unexpectedly is exactly what’s going to step up your summer styling this year. The usual floral culprits are said and done (you know what I’m talking about) and it’s time for something new. Inventing a new way to wear the same old is as easy as looking for it on a new material, for example, this silky kimono style jacket that I found in the lingerie section of a thrift store is exactly the kind of hidden gem you’ve got to look for.

Over the years, the standard print for floral has gotten bigger and bigger, so don’t be afraid to take it back and do the exact opposite for a change. Micro print let’s you do floral without risking being mistaken for a rosebush, or if you’re not a huge fan of people stopping to smell you. On the bonus side, because the print isn’t the center of attention, it leaves rooms for accessorizing. Lots and lots of accessorizing!

      Thank you xx

  • i like the small print idea.. most of my floral is actually small print just coz I feel like the bigger the print the bigger I look in photos and in person? Idunno, it’s not super flattering with a stronger bust.

Depends on the print, but you definitely have a point. Most of my floral print is small, too, although there are always exceptions to the rule!
