Where F/W layers meet S/S freshness

It’s the natural inspiration of rediscovering something you forgot you had. Bringing out my winter wardrobe was just that, and serves as my favorite transitional period because ’tis the season for pairing cozy knits with mini skirts and layering summer dresses over turtlenecks. Sounds ideal, non? The flip side is that it’s also the season of over-dressing; when the weather app calls for gloom and rain, but the sun comes out for a second round of summer and you’re screwed.

The solution? Don’t commit, or at least, always have an exit strategy.

Committing to a knit means layering a t-shirt underneath in case of an emergency stripdown.

If you aren’t sure if a t-shirt dress will last the whole day, cardigans are your new best friend; and for all my Vancouver readers, a chic waterproof trench is your answer.

What are your go-to strategies?
