Going from day to night in San Diego is easy, all you need is 2 types of dresses
Coming from LA, my girl Frenchi showed up in a sweatshirt, but coming from Canada, I was living for the summer dress weather.
On vacation, you can find me in either bikinis or a dress, but since we’re talking about dresses for today, I’ll leave the bikini talk for an upcoming blog post. All in all, it doesn’t matter what dress you want to wear at whatever time of day, but personally I have a little method for deciding between frocks.
On this particular day, we started by going to Coronado beach; I wanted to keep it simple, fun and flirty so the obvious choice was to go for this dress with the pom-pom detailing at the back. The tank silhouette was a fun piece for the beach and I paired it with this fun woven bag (that fits my water, sunscreen, shoes and the dress when I take it off to go swimming! ) (similar here)
For nighttime, I like to emphasis my tan with a crisp white dress that’s more on the feminine side and you know Pitusa always comes through with the insane back details, even if it’s simple cross-over straps, like on the summer dress. Whatever I’m wearing always influences how I feel and spending that particular evening at Sunset Cliffs in Point Loma and sitting at the edge of a cliff watching the sun go down in a breezy dress was exactly the way I wanted to feel in that moment.
