Waking up to the sights and sounds of Paris
Goooood morning from Paris! I flew in yesterday on an earlier flight than Meagan and Jen because today is fully packed and I wanted a decent nights sleep; plus, I’m still sick and wanted some time to chill and get better.
We’re staying at an Air Bnb on the 6th floor and leaning out the window this morning to look over our neighbourhood with a cup of tea was a simple motion that had so much beauty in it. The breeze is warm, the sounds of the city rose up to greet me and the level of privacy can’t be beat.
This morning, we shot a campaign at a quintessential Parisian café around the block from our apartment in about 20 minutes because everything was on lock: Jen behind the camera + the location was relatively empty + the light was working in our favour = content. I wore a pair of gorgeous hammered gold earrings (similar here, here and here) with a polka dot top (similar here and here) and a pair of distressed jeans with my worn-to-death slipons.
Next, I had a special show to attend; I’ve known Jackie for a few years through her own line Jackie JS Lee and this season in Paris, she also took on the chief designer role for Nehera, which was such an experience to see her signature design elements woven into the collection.
For this show, I wore a floral blazer (similar here and here) and a pair of red pants I picked up from a random store in Milan and my equally worn-to-death Saint Laurent laceups (which I was terrified to purchase at the time, but I wear them so much it was worth every penny) with my Louis Vuitton Lockme bag sans shoulder strap.
